We only accept animals from Queen Anne’s County. If you are not in Queen Anne’s county, please contact your county animal shelter. We understand that surrendering a pet is very difficult for you and your family. We are here to help! Before surrendering your pet please contact AWL and we can assist you with any behavior problems. We ask that if you do have to surrender your pet that you come during our normal business hours. We want to be sure we get as much information from you about your pet’s personality and medical history.
What to bring to AWL
- Valid photo ID with Queen Anne county address
- Pets veterinary record
- Be prepared to discuss your pet’s personality and behavior with our staff.
