Adoption Policy
All of the animals coming into our shelter will be treated with care and kindness, and will live in a positive environment, including kennel enrichment, exercise, socialization and even games, but what they really need is you! Please come meet our wonderful animals and we will help you to find the companion animal that best fits your needs. We offer same day adoptions to approved adopters. Our goal is set you up for success and become a resource for you. The adoption team will meet with you and help with all ownership questions you may have. We are committed to doing our best to ensure that you are adopting a healthy, good-tempered pet that fits well with your lifestyle. We will perform a temperament assessment for each animal coming into the shelter and will provide you with as much information as possible regarding their behavior and personality. Your adoption includes:
Dogs
- General health examination
- Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations
- Rabies vaccinations (3 months and up)
- 4dx Snap test- Heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia (dogs over 6 months)
- Microchip
- Spay/Neuter
Cats
- General health examination
- Distemper vaccinations
- Rabies vaccinations (3 months and up)
- Snap Combo test- Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids
- Microchip
- Spay/Neuter
We will provide you with post-adoption support, as needed.
